The most common myths about high-CBD cannabis are probably the most dangerous of all. These myths can actually serve to protect those who cultivate and sell it from facing criminal prosecution. That is, if they fall into one of the following categories: they know very little about the cannabis they’re selling, they are careless with the potency or “essence” of the product, or they are intentionally misleading their customers. Regardless of the reasoning behind the seller, the common myth is that high-CBD cannabis is more dangerous than low-CBD cannabis. This article will discuss these three reasons for why it’s not true.
The first myth is that high-CBD cannabis is more addictive than low-CBD cannabis. This is simply not true. In fact, it is possible to get high-CBD cannabis without getting addicted to it – a point that has been brought up many times by those who have researched this topic. As a result, this myth is nothing but a complete fallacy.
The second myth surrounding this issue is that it is more dangerous because it doesn’t go through a metabolic process that produces cannabidiol. While this is true, the actual chemical in question is not in any way related to cannabidiol. What you need to understand is that cannabidiol does not go through a “transcriptional reaction” in your body when it is ingested. Instead, it is metabolized by your liver, which then releases it into your blood stream where it acts on every single cell in your body. That being said, there is absolutely no way that taking an artificially prepared CBD supplement will create an addiction to the drug.
The third myth about high-CBD cannabis is that it causes more damage than good. This is simply not true, as the high-CBD state in fact has some very positive health benefits. For instance, it has been found to be extremely effective at combating the symptoms of depression, as well as improving various other symptoms of anxiety and schizophrenia. In addition, it has been found to help with the treatment and management of seizures, something that is typically a side effect of certain antipsychotic medications.
The fourth myth surrounding CBD is that it is less effective than other forms of medicinal cannabis. This common myth is entirely false, as studies have shown that CBD is just as effective as other medicinal cannabis strains. Some of these studies have even produced results that were nearly identical to what we find found when using traditional medical marijuana. These are three of the most common myths out there around CBD.
